Jay's behavioral notes from his animal shelter were so endearing that when he was spending his final day at the shelter, we had to step in, even though he's not a Doberman.  They had even made him their Pet of the Week!  What he is happens to be some sort of Shepherd and another breed with luxurious fur, a 10-month-old boy (as of August, 2025) weighing 58 pounds, whose owner couldn't keep him.  Jay is sweet and friendly, social with both sexes of dogs, and so deserving of a family that will appreciate what a great pet he is!  A DNA test is in the works to determine exactly what he is.
