Hi there!  My name is Colleen and I’m the founder of Rewear 4 Rescue, a for-profit company supporting and celebrating non-profit efforts.  Let me tell you a little about how Rewear 4 Rescue was born.

I’ve spent the past 20+ years in dog rescue working at Dobies and Little Paws Rescue in Fillmore, CA.  Starting when I was 19 years old, rescue has been my main purpose and passion in life.  Over the years I have heard the constant request for merchandise and as much as I wanted to oblige, there were challenges I just didn’t want to deal with.  Low profit margins, design limitations, and high inventory storage always made me stay away from getting into the merchandise business.  Then I was inspired by TGS Collective, run by adopter Alex Morehouse in Sonora, CA.  Her re-imagining of previously used clothing gave me the idea.

All clothing for sale on this site is previously used and redesigned with each one being unique, just like the dogs at the rescue. The stickers are new and the perfect size to decorate your water bottle, laptop, notebook or any other surface you want to show your Dobie love on.

So how does your purchase support the rescue dogs?  50% of the sales price goes directly to Dobies and Little Paws Rescue each month.  The remaining 50% goes back into the business and towards the care of other rescue animals in my care.
